NAME Adam Harlow FIRST HOME GAME EVER SEEN I remember going to a game against Dagenham in the late 90's and left at half-time. The first game i can remember properly was losing 3-2 at home to Boston United i seem to remember us leading 2-0 as well with goals from Simon Parke FIRST AWAY GAME EVER SEEN Burton Albion away in 2005/2006 in which we drew 0-0, but Hereford 4 days later sticks in the memory more BEST GAME EVER SEEN The Notts County game was beyond words, a brilliant game in which we came back from 2 goals down to win 4-2 and 2 fantastic goals from Pickford and Lane, being shown on match of the day that evening, and to top it of i was in the background! WORST GAME EVER SEEN Maybe the year we went up, losing at home to Harrogate i thought we had blown it, also getting beaten by Altrincham this season in a awful performance and it there was even unrest on the terraces! BEST OCCASION Winning the league in 04/05 was a brilliant achievment, and will live long in the memory. Avoiding relegation last season also was fantastic and a great achievment as most thought we were down by christmas. Hereford topped it all of. WORST OCCASION Relegation in 2002/2003 was an awful memory, i remember sat infront of sky sports news when the news came in, a horrible experience. FAVOURITE EVER PLAYER : Steve Dickinson FUNNIEST MOMENT WATCHING SFC Darren being thrown in the bin was funny, and when he said he has £10 000 worth of 5ps! BEST GOAL SEEN SCORED BY SOUTHPORT PLAYER Pickford and Lane against Notts County, but Mark Boyd's this season is up there with the best Southport goal i have ever witnessed. BEST GROUND VISITED Burton and Forest Green when the stand behind the net is finished. |
