FIRST HOME GAME EVER SEEN:  Cradiff City in the FA Cup in 1966 (I was very young - Honest!)

FIRST AWAY GAME EVER SEEN: Slough Town in 1997, (at the wonderfully named Shaggy Calf Lane!)

BEST GAME EVER SEEN: Anytime we beat Kettering (Because I win money off a friend who's one of their fans) Or Harrogate last year!

WORST GAME EVER SEEN: Relegation at Stevenage in 2003 - An abject capitulation by the vast majority of players.

BEST OCCASIONS: Wembley, trophy final in May 1998 and Harrogate last year (After half-time when I knew we were champions).

WORST OCCASIONS: Stevenage 2003 - Relegation

FAVOURITE EVER PLAYER: Brian Butler

FUNNIEST MOMENT WATCHING SFC: Wombat, my brother having to leave Yeading at half-time when we were 1-1 in the trophy. (We won 6-1) Or Amnesiac in the bar at Whitby, you had to be there!

BEST GOAL SEEN SCORED BY SOUTHPORT PLAYER: Neil Grayston at Havent and Waterlooville (FA Cup 2000) no for the goal but the little dance he did afterwards!

BEST GROUND VISITED WATCHING SFC: Rochdale FC (LDV Vans trophy), Rushden's Nene Park, or Wembley!

ANY ANECDOTES: I was in America when we played Notts County in the FA Cup. Having found out the result, I adjourned to the hotel bar for a celebratory drink, but found it very difficult explaining to the average American why I was so happy when
their only knowledge of soccer. Is, "Man Utd"
